Hey Friends! Welcome back to my little spot on the Internet where I get to share my stories and experiences from the mission field.

This past month has been packed with beautiful countryside, loving people, and restless nights full of wrestling with the Lord.

This past month has been difficult for me personally. At the begging of our time here in Albania I started getting worn out and craving things from home. Things like my community, discipleship (in a more traditional sense), my Bible and study tools at home. On top of these desires the Lord really started revealing gifts and talents that He is preparing me to use back home and I was full of fire and eagerness to get started.

A couple of weeks into our time I started to get very physically tired a lot and experiencing other minor health things that brought me to the realization that something was triggering my depression and anxiety. I can’t place exactly what was making this happen but knew I had experienced this before.

This brought me into another season of wrestling with the Lord. Inviting people from home and my team into spaces I never thought I would. Bringing questions to the Lord about what the remaining 4 months looks like. Pleading with Him about desires that grew so strong I wasn’t sure how to use while on the race. While simultaneously physically doing what I knew would help my mental health.

Prior to the race, wrestling with God was a concept I didn’t personally experience. The Lord invites us to wrestle with Him. We can bring any and all questions to the Lord knowing that when we seek Him that He gives us answers full of truth and wisdom.

As we prepare to transition to our next country and prepare to move into another season of unscripted time I am thankful for the wrestle with Him. That He has given me promises to cling to and a heart that craves to chase after Him more and more.

I encourage you to bring whatever questions, desires, heartache, worries, or anything to God and wrestle with Him for answers. Seek Him and allow Him to further sanctify you and change you into the person He has created you to be.
